Under the guidance of Annie Loui, the creative team adapted a portion of The Iliad in the style of Counter-Balance Theatre. Counter-Balance theater is a physical style of theater that transforms actors into multiple characters, animals or objects in a high contact form of movement. To support the cinematic scope of the production, the lighting had strong gestural brush strokes that pierced into the space for harsh battle sequences and transformed the space into the mystical clouds of Olympus with warm sweeping light as the suspended light bulbs hovered in space.
